Retro Glass Designed by Sori Yanagi - Hirota Glass

This glassware from Hirota Glass is a reissue of a design by industrial designer Yanagi Sori [柳宗理/1915-2011]. It is characterized by its neat design and practicality.

The first thing we'd like you to notice is the robust construction from the base to the stem. This is our particular favorite feature; it not only fits naturally in hand but also presents a refined visual appeal.

Additionally, the rim of the glass is moderately thick, providing a reassuring feel. While thin, stylish wine glasses are great for special dinner occasions, they demand extra caution when placed on the table or washed. In contrast, this glass is suitable for everyday use.
